Create Beautiful and Unique Designs from Beach-Found Treasures

My Thoughts

I enjoy collecting shells, stones and sea glass when we visit the coast of Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. I found more sea glass when walking along the beach at Surf City, NC when I lived there a few years ago. There was not a wide variety of hues and colors like those presented in "Sea Glass Jewelry" by Lindsay Furber & Mary Beth Beuer.

"Sea Glass Jewelry" is amply stocked with beautiful photography. They begin by introducing us to the terms and tools that we will need to begin our jewelry crafting and how to clean and organize the sea glass. They share step-by-step instructions on wire wrapping, drilling glass, and texturing metal to create unique and fashionable bracelets, pendants, earrings and beautiful rings.

I look forwards to searching the beaches for more unique shaped and colored sea glass on my next trip to the coast. In the meantime, I need to browse the resources shared by Sea Glass Jewelry for  tools, supplies and more information. Um, I have needle nose pliers and some wire on hand. What else do I need? Safety goggles! Don't worry! The supply list is featured with each project. Have fun!

Thank you,
Janet
