Justin Roberts' TRICK or TREAT Family Concert

Justin Roberts’ Trick or Treat Family Concert Tour
"Everyone's outside, bags are open wide,
Cuz we're ready to trick-or-trick-or-trick-or-trick-or treat!
Falling leaves will soar, we'll go door to door,
Cuz we're ready to trick-or-trick-or-trick-or-trick-or TREAT!"
-Justin Roberts, from the song "Trick or Treat"

On October 31st, kids all around the nation will be running around their neighborhoods and filling their bags with candy. It's Halloween! And we have the perfect soundtrack for the holiday. Justin Roberts' new song, "Trick or Treat" (listen now: http://www.justinrobertsmusic.com/trickortreat.php) is a special treat that we want to throw into your bag of sweets.

Justin and the Not Ready for Naptime Players will visit several cities for their “Trick or Treat” family concert tour during October:

The song is from Justin Roberts' new CD Jungle Gym, which has earned him a place in the pantheon of top family music stars, and has gained lots of media attention (NPR, The New York Times, Time Magazine, NoDepression, just to name a few) and thousands of new fans in recent months. The songs on Jungle Gym strike the deepest chords with parents, grandparents and kids alike because they evoke iconic moments that we all remember from our own childhoods. Moments like a the bewilderment of getting your first haircut, anticipating the fun and homesickness of sleepovers, or playing with the gym class parachute, all come to vivid life in these songs. The song "Trick or Treat" is no exception.  National Public Radio's All Things Considered reviewer calls this song "an instant Halloween classic,"  and even during the dog days of summer, it was getting attention. Dad blogger "Out with the Kids" calls the song brilliant: "There are so many remarkable moments contained inside this 220-second gem … I can almost see the fist pumps from the crowd.”
We invite you to take a listen to the song, and to view Justin and his Not Ready for Naptime Players and their high energy performance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nu6JUM8Ut9I&feature=related .
